Hi there, I am having a little problem with my OptiPac. It may not actually be a problem, but a "feature".
Anyway, I have two Happ's buttons wired into the button inputs. They work fine, except that I cannot hold the button down and do anything(eg. when dragging a window). It is like I press it and release it again, even though I am not.
I am using XP, if that makes any difference.
Is this normal behaviour? Is there any way that I can do this? (I have found the control panel mouse setting in XP that is supposed to let you press the mouse button down and have it automatically "hold" the button down until you press it again, but it does not work). It looks like the OptiPac is telling the PC that the button is being released, even though it is not.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Make sure the buttons and the trackball is on the same player. If they are and you still have problems, try switching both to player 2.
On win9x at least, if you hold a button on mouse A and move mouse B (optipac or not), window acts as if the button was released; I think it's the same on winXP. However, sometimes the USB optipac had a problem with player 1 buttons not staying "down", but not with player 2.
