I have only seen it once. Here is a picture:

I was going to be a smartass about your recent postwhoring, but instead choose to be a smartass about the weakness of your image-fu.
Here's how the big boys do it.

Super King of X Street Tekken Fighter Slug Hack

Cheffo- thanks for the big boy assist
I think this may have been the thing responsible for killin arcades
-
:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:
Thanks for making me spit up all over my screen. Thankfully I was drinking water.

Super Mario Bros 2

:laugh2:

The joysticks are on the wrong side of the buttons. That's what killed the arcade.
-
Lefty's killed the arcade? :)
-
I feel like a sucker for giving it more than 20 seconds of thought.
-
I used to play the bootleg of that game at a local laundry mat.

That wasn't a game. Someone stuffed the attendant in a dryer.
-
And here I though Don Bluth had perfected the laserdisc game!
-
And people keep saying there are no 4p games that use more than 4 buttons. This proves them wrong.... Whatever this is...
-
Alright, I feel like careful analysis of the only available screenshot will help us get closer to the truth.
Let's see what we have here.

:laugh2: :laugh2: Damn it, I am getting stared at by my coworkers for busting out laughing in the middle of the office. I think my coworkers are beginning to suspect that I am on crack or something. :laugh2:
Also, I'm pretty sure that you are right about the cat. I think it might be Satan's cat on a hoverboard. The shifty figure on the right is harder to place.
-
How is this 4 player? Does each player control one limb of the satan-cat? Or do the players control the figure on the right.
I totally want this game...
-
Well, I'm assuming it must be a newer game. It's obviously a wide screen format game, so it's probably running on an LCD screen. Well, maybe it's a side-by-side 4:3 CRT come to think of it.
AH HA! That means this is X-Men! But, if that's true, then your screen shot is inaccurate (it doesn't show P5 or P6) or else you played a hacked version with only 4 players.
So, the character on the left is Wolverine and the one on the right must be Juggernaut?
-
I thought it might be x-men, but x-men does not have 6 buttons per player :dunno
-
I was able to secure another sweet screenshot of the game with a 4 player game being played.

Obviously the game player 4 is playing is Q*bert, with that joystick angle. Ha.
If thats not enough to kick off a Frankenthread, how about:
"My kung fu is better than anybody else's here"
-TJC
Ha!
-
totally stumped...

Ha!
Well, I'm pretty sure player four walked away because his joystick was angled. Vigo asked him to come back to help him prove that the joystick worked, but he got his Shaolin toe stubbed while on a trampoline eating a hotdog.
For the rest, I did a MAWS search for 4 player, 6 buttons, WTF graphics...and I think the game is called Salary Man Kintarou (http://maws.mameworld.info/maws/set/salmankt)
There was no screenshot, so that explains why nobody ever saw the game. Case closed.
;D ;D ;D
-
Is that an amoeba at the bottom?? Haha And the first boss from Alien Syndrome, and an angry 7up spot.
-
---maternal-smurf---! Salary Man... that was so on the tip of my tongue.
Best... Game.... Ever...
-
Well, Salaryman is no Centipede, but then again, few games are.
-
Best... Thread.... Ever...
FTFY
(I'm so upvoting this thread ... wait, nevermind)

I gave centipede another genuine try the other day.....I still can't get into it. I'm pretty convinced that game is living on pure nostalgia.
