Title: Free Pinball or Why I hate Craigslist
Post by: Necro on May 05, 2011, 08:59:39 am
So...someone put up a 'Just get it out of my house and you have it for free' ad on craiglist for a nonworking pin near me yesterday morning.  I saw it later in the day, so it was prob. gone, but emailed anyway.  No response.

I HATE the no response.  At least let people know it's gone if it is.  Sheesh.  Second or third time this happened with a pin at this point on CL.

That is just another common courtesy severely lacking in today's society.  When you show some manners these days and hold the door open for a lady they look at you like you are from outer space.

The youth of the world is just getting better and better.

Usually people let you know it's gone on CL by taking down the ad.  Rarely does anyone respond to everybody who inquired.

That tends to be difficult if they don't include a number.

As was mentioned, taking down the ad is a simple way to tell everyone it's gone.  Editing the title to include the word SOLD is also pretty obvious.  We have just notified everyoe interested at once. How hard can it be?
