Title: Let those circuits spin! We are having fun with a new product :)
Post by: armi0024 on May 03, 2011, 03:27:23 am
This is a 6 conductor set up that will allow circuits to rotate.  It's the perfect addition to any lit stick.  These devices are usually very expensive but we made a bulk deal and should be able to sell them for 20 each.  I know not that cheap, but they have 6 conductors...hmm I guess that means something else should be coming out shortly!

Wow, you really test stuff in the hardest conditions.  :applaud: "Should work for most people".  :laugh2:

With 6 connections you could do an RGB and a top mounted button!

YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!      a tiny slip ring, F-ing genius, I cant tell you how happy this makes me ;D ;D

I've kept this quite, but I actually did get the RGB/rotary/topfire/U360 working,(that's right one joystick to rule them all) but with much difficulty, the toughest part being the rotation of the wires, I went with the a 4 pole mini plug (plus I used the shaft as a the common) and it works OK, but this looks like a much more elegant and durable solution, can't wait to get my hand on some
Taking orders yet?
Must Have NOW!!!!

armi0024, Seriously PM me the second you a couple ready to ship

EDIT: just had another thought....  Oh My usb has only 5 conductors, ohhh the possibilities!!!

You could use these to make your own retractable usb cord reel which would be cheaper than this route (http://www.almarkenterprises.com/CDR.htm).
