That jack is designed to plug into things like slot machine and whatnot.
They just slide the monitor in and it mates up with the other half of the connector.

It's for a video slot machine.

Im also curious about this, is there a way to convert this
to use in an arcade cabinet? It does have a seperate VGA port. Itd be nice if
they had a power adapter for it.

This info might help you.  You would probably have to make your own adapter.

Ah, thanks for the info. Yeah, it seems to be able to take a VGA signal on the separate VGA adapter, so if I can figure out which is which pin for the power on the adapter...I could possibly rig something up. As it seems to just be getting power to the monitor is the issue.

Over in this part of the world our AC wire colours are brown (Live) and blue (Neutral).

Looking at your last pic i'd bet thats what those two wires are in that pic,so they're prob your mains power. But maybe a pic of where they lead might help prove that!

@shagster , I think you're right. I see the blue and brown wires connected to the top most pins. They seem to be seperate leading away from the other wires. I've attached a pic. The next question I guess would be, if a simple splice to a standard 125v computer monitor  power cord directly to those wires would work? Or being that it's a different country code with I need some sort of inverter?

edit: I've been reading that most Euro/Korean countries use the 220v standard while America uses the 110v. So would I need a 220v outlet? The only thing I have for that is my washer lol.

Nice StephenH ;)

Well looking at that manual it says its AC input is universal,so you shouldn't have any problems splicing those wires(blue 25 pin - brown 24 pin).

Connect the earth wire aswell(thats the green with yellow running threw it)to the monitor power cables earth wire that you're splicing.Looks like that pin number is 23.

Wow, thanks for the good information there. And would you know it? After splicing the brown/blue wires with a standard monitor power cord, grounding the green wire, and taking cover...success! Power is going to the monitor :) All I need to do now is hook up the VGA to a computer to test the output, but thanks for all the help.
