This one should be easy, because there are a couple somewhat unique features on this cab, but thus far I have struck out in identifying it myself...
These two (nearly) identical cabs have sat in a friends garage for years, and now that he has moved out of state, they're all mine for the Mame-ing. Just out of curiosity, I'd like to identify what game these cabs used to house.
The features I'd like to point out, to aid identification, are:
1) There is a bracket bolted to the side of one of the cabs, and I think they were once physically linked together.
2) The lack of a marquee, and the speakers in its place.
3) This one will probably be the dead give-away... there used to be some kind of wired contraption bolted to the top of these cabs, see picture 2 below.
Picture 1, from the front, you can see the other cab behind it:

Picture 2, the remnants of some top-mounted wired device on top of the cab:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They might not have been video games. Perhaps some kind of bingo machine etc. I've seen those types of machines being linked together before and they had lighted ornaments on top rather then the traditional marquee that video games had. Those four small bolts on the top of the cab look exactly to be for that kind of thing. I can't say for sure as I don't recognise the cabinet in all fairness.
Were there no control panels with these cabinets? If these were junked then it means there were possibly no joysticks or arcade buttons to re-use. What are those two stickers or whatever on the left of the front panel? Any wording on them? Any manufacturers name or any plates/stickers anywhere else on the cab?

I can't tell you what that CAB is from the past but, I can see the future and I belive it's a MAME cab ;D

Leeds,
I had gone over the stickers before, but your post prompted me to look it over again in detail, and I think I might have found a new clue, Scooby-Doo Style...
I already knew it had "Q Sound" Audio, and I knew it had an Aladdin's Castle arcade nameplate on it, leading me to believe that it was a video game and not a gambling machine of some kind...

...but now I found a small sticker on the back that tells me for certain that it was a video game. And furthermore, a Capcom video game from 1993...and I now know the Model Number (020800940) and Serial Number (172), and that it was assembled by Dynamo Corp, and the "Game Label" ... here comes what should be the dead give away ... says CAPCOM SM2000 SLV...

You have The Gift of Sight, Thenasty. Just remember, with great power comes great responsibility. ;D

Now that I know it's Capcom, I was able to find a picture of a slightly more intact version of my cabs, although from the looks of the control panel, this could just be another mame machine. Either that, or this cab was originally a Marvel Vs Capcom type game. If this picture is showing the original control panel, I figure I can't do much worse myself, because it looks pretty damn ugly to me... :o
