Title: ***FREE*** Atari/Nintendo RBI Baseball
Post by: KonkeyKong on April 26, 2011, 12:50:51 pm
Picked up an Atari/Nintendo RBI Baseball off a curb, cleaned it up and she looks pretty spiffy.  Cab has a Popeye plate on the back, control panel is your basic Nintendo Vs. I have been looking online and have been unable to find out if this has any value to it or not.  The cab does have some lower water damage, fixable, but I'm trying to weigh restoration against parting it out.  This is my first experience with a real cabinet, all my others have been DIY Mame cabs, so I feel like a noob.

***Bit off way more than I can handle.  I'm a wheelchair user and my carpenter buddies are all quite swamped so I'm giving this one away.  I live in Orange City, Iowa.  Come pick it up, please! It would make a great Donkey Kong restore.  Coin door is in great shape, power supply is working, 19 inch monitor turns on, stays pink. Marquee/bezel retainers are good.  Bezel and marquee plexi are good.  Control panel has two nintendo joysticks in great shape, six nintendo push buttons/holders/switches.  All in all cabinet is solid, just needs a little love.  PM if you're interested.

Congrats on finding a cabinet. Always fun. You should post pics. I've paid $75 for a solid narrow nintendo cabinet with a coin door and all the retainers.

The best use of a cabinet like that is Donkey Kong.

Shoot, I forgot to post this was taken already, like a year ago.  Sorry about that.  I do have a pair of candy cabinets for sale in the B/S/T section though...
