Hello Everyone
I am looking for a MAME builder in Michigan. (48446)
I was going to build a mame machine , but I kinda lost interest.
But not before , I ended up collecting , enough stuff in my garage to build a few.
I have ....
2 cabinets , 1 in better shape than the other
2 arcade monitors , a 29in and a 19in , I think
$300 in printed art work
new PCI video card
new usb trackball
motherboard , cpu , memory and hard drive
2 or 3 trackball mounts
5 or 6 new joysticks
maybe 60 buttons , all colors
3 different keyboard controllers
100ft of tmolding
a new light gun
coin doors
arcade speakers ( no amp )
control panels are drilled
the plexi covering for the control panels are 95% done
all the electrical stuff than you will ever need
other stuff
basically a tun of stuff ...
I know I still need a power supply ... to complete 1 unit ...
If you live in Michigan , and want to build a mame cabinet or 2 , maybe 1 for you , 1 for 1 me kinda thing ( xmas gift 2011 ) ... or we can build it and sell it , and split the money , I am open for any options you might have. Let me know.
pm me or jmm92@hotmail.com
thanks Jason
sorry if this is in the wrong spot ...

I'm a little closer. I'm still new at this. I'd be good with electrical stuff, but probably not so good with cabinet stuff.
You can see what I did here.

It works pretty good. I just don't have the skills for woodworking. If you noticed initially I had the X-arcade set on there, and a piece of PVC pipe so I could play it.
Later I added the furniture drawer and had my uncle make the cuts in it for the X-arcade using his table saw.
I've done some stuff here and there that I didn't document/picture.
Such as the piece of sheet metal that I cut out for the bill validator hole. I also added a push button on the side of cabinet (a hole was there already) for the power switch.
But doing T-molding, using a router... Never done it.

By the way, where did you get your marquee from?
