Title: Help me identify this (Ultimarc?) component?
Post by: smalltownguy on April 21, 2011, 08:23:53 am
I saw this on (fe)eBay this morning, and couldn't resist, I just bought it. I did the whole 'shoot first, ask questions later' thing.

Looking more closely, I see there's something 'extra' with my Aimtrak purchase. Can someone identify the component circled in red? I'm not sure what it is.

TIA...

It has USB on one side, a bunch of pins on another, and perhaps a four-pin jack on the far side. A controller of some kind? I don't think that's an Ultimarc product, though. Andy would know best, of course.

Found it - it's a Nanotech Mot-Ion kit:

if he find the plunger part for it  ;D

contact the guy who sold it to you, ask him if he has the plunger (get it cheap from him)  ;)
$60.00 buck for a new one.

I was about to do that very thing, but then I got my wits about me, and decided that I'd wait until he'd actually shipped it to me before I asked for the plunger. I was afraid if I let him in on the secret that he'd back out on the deal. When it arrives, I'll ask for the plunger. ;)

It looks like it can be bought for $45 using this link (http://www.nanotechent.com/fp-mkitdiscount.php). I don't know if you have to be a member or what, but the paypal link works.

Not to cause issues but some have reported issues in dealing with Nanotech including never getting products that were paid for.  Obviously, using Paypal gives you a small measure of protection. Granted, the product that I recall is the Optigun so the digital pinball stuff may not be an issue.

Let's rub the genie and see if we can get someone to pop in here....
