Title: Video/USB switch
Post by: ShadowSoldier89 on April 20, 2011, 01:07:41 pm
So i'm currently working on a cabinet with a PS3 and a PC installed on it for Mame/modern fighters (Blazblue and the new Mortal Kombat, stuff not available on PC) and I'm using Chimp SMD PCBs to hook up the controls, I've tested them on both PC and PS3 already

What I'm wondering is what kind of switch will work for swapping the video between the PS3 and PC, I've used plenty of KVMs that were old VGA PS/2 but I'm not sure if modern KVMs with USB will pass a non keyboard/Mouse signal through them

Anyone have any recommendations? Needs to also be either HDMI or DVI

Just get a hdmi kvm. Should be what you need.

Some kvms have usb hubs built into them that switch between sources.
