Title: Miniature Arcade for Train Set
Post by: DeLuSioNal29 on April 16, 2011, 11:13:59 am
A buddy of mine forwarded this link to me and I thought I'd share.  Someone built a miniature arcade storefront for a train set.  Pretty freakin' cool if you ask me.   :applaud:

It's too bright inside to be an arcade... Arcades are supposed to be dark!

Nice detail.  Would have loved to have one back when I was into HO scale.

Not only that, but there are windows EVERYWHERE!  Imagine the glare!
That would be a horrible arcade to try and play in.

Still, as far as models go, that's awesome.

I think it looks like a 50's diner.

The link says it is "O" scale.  I really like this thing - it must have taken a while to build.

I've been thinking about running a train on an elevated track between the kids room about 1' below the ceiling but I have no idea where to begin.  I envision it being hooked to a wall switch and there would be "tunnels" between the rooms (holes in the walls, finished of course).  Maybe I'll save it for an area of the basement though.

Very good. I kind of know the proportions of '0' gage, and can tell you that level of detail in that gage would be hard to do.

Pre-tty ne-at. However, there's not enough room to play those front pins. Ooops.  And yeah, there should be black light or blue neon light in there or something.
