(mods - if you deem this more appropriate for B/S/T I understand)
My son just came home with another fundraiser flier for a (required) class trip to a week long, overnight environmental/outdoor education (http://www.campbournedaleed.net/) program.
Usually it's lame stuff like cookie dough, green cleaning products, etc., but this one is from NSTAR (our elect co.), selling inexpensive CFLs ($1-$3 apiece), but more importantly to the BYOAC crowd: $15 Smarts Strips!
I really wish I had a project going, because these are 1/2 price compared to the Bits Unlimited site, and $10 cheaper than Amazon.
The flier doesn't mention the specific model, but the specs and picture match up to the SCG3 with seven outlets: one control, two hots, 3 switched.
If you have any friends with kids in the 6th grade in Carver, MA and are in need of a Smart Strip or CFLs (and don’t mind a wait - most of these fundraisers seem to take about 4 weeks to deliver from the date the fundraiser closes, which is 4/29) hit them up.
If you are local to SE Mass but no friends in Carver with 6th graders, let me know. You can mail me a check written to the school, we’ll place the order for you, and then we can work out a pick up, meet up, or delivery when they arrive.
This fundraiser is for the "general fund", which pays the tuition for children whose families could not otherwise afford the trip. It's not for the specific child doing the fund raising.

For those unable to fill their need with gryhnd's supplier and are also not anti corporate giant, Walmart has these for only a couple dollars more: http://www.walmart.com/ip/CyberPower-7050SG-7-Outlet-Surge-Protector/14968093 (http://www.walmart.com/ip/CyberPower-7050SG-7-Outlet-Surge-Protector/14968093)
I saw them near the TV accessories a couple weeks ago and was reminded by this thread that I meant to post it.
