Title: Project 64 emu 1.6 hacked exe (With scape key support) no longer exists???

I put project 64 on mala and configured all. All is working well except...when i try to exit (pressing ESC key), i return to mala menu games screen but emu stills running...after 10 seconds  closes automatically and i can take control over game screen on mala.

Ok this is a well known issue on this forum, cause project 64 uses ESC key for switch between fullscreen/windowed mode.

The way to solve this is using an unofficial version of Project 64 hacked, that supports ESC key for exit emulator, i try to search on the web, but this hacked version no longer exists...

This link is dead...and searching on google has turned no succes finding this version of project 64, i know all you use mala+project 64 on this forum sure got this version...

Thereīs any generous soul who can upload this "Project 64 emu 1.6 hacked exe " on any file sharing service?... i will apreciate your help.

If no one can do it, thereīs any other "workaround" solution about this problem?

I also need this exe if possible. Im building my first mame cabinet and every other emulator is setup with scape key support except my 64 emulator. Any help is appreciated!!

I too am building my 1st racing cab, and was just going to have shiftermame, but then I saw a post about N64 having quite a few games that are almost unplayable in mame and started checking out Project 64, I was so disappointed that it didn't support escape(exit) that I just left all as well, now you say it is possible??? I would love it if you would send me a copy, and possibly any info on using it, as I have never run it before. I plan on using a script file in Mala for emu selection, so all games will show up in the main list, if you have any advice about the command line of N64 i would love that too.  :cheers:

Garetmax, can you send me another time the exe file? I didnīt findit on my email...or deleted it by error...

Is possible to share the link on the forum? (or forum rules didnīt allow to put links with emus only?) once, one of ours got it...
i think this version of project64 emu is a "must have" for mala users...if someone wants to use nintendo64 emu+mala frontend, thereīs no way to do it, if its not with this hacked version.

Here's a copy of John's P64 1.6 with escape file.

I keep getting lots of requests for it.

I don't know if this is a problem to upload to this site, but if so hopefully Loadman will delete it. :)

If its ok to post this emulator file, then maybe someone could put it on the wiki or main Mala site for all to use if needed.

This exe works like a charm!

Now i can exit games from project64 and return to mala front end pushing ESC key. with no problem:cheers:
Next days iīll try to configure plugins and post here the results.

Empardopo, thanks for your workaround solution, maybe will use your "AllInOne" in other emus or aplications near future. Empardopo see you on "retrovicio" ;)

Yes empardopo, but when project 64 (not hacked) starts in full screen mode, the ESC key dont works (if previously i "hotkeyed" the esc key)...i tried with mala hotkey menu, and close emul, and when i reconfigure ESC key, then, it didnt work, in the way that no longer switches between fullscreen/windowed and do absolute nothing...i donīt know (at the moment) if your "allinone" solves this. Sure you can confirm that the combo "Allinone+project64" works.

Do you have an English version of the AllInOne program?

I'm having trouble with Demul and Closemul automation and would like to give your program a try but can't read or speak Spanish.
