Title: List of MAME Cocktail games

Is there a listing somewhere of all the games that work in MAME that have a Cocktail option?   I tried searching MAWS, but either I was looking in the wrong spot, or that's not searchable on the site.  Anyone know is theres a list somewhere?

"screen flipping" would probably be the keyword you're looking for, but there doesn't seem to be an option to search for just that in MAWS, even under the deluxe search.

I would then suggest romlister for your searching needs.  configure it to look for cocktail mode and then restrict it down to your monitor orientation and the number of and types of joysticks you've got and you'll have a nice list.

I have a question about the cocktail settings in MAME.   Lets use Ms. Pacman for example.   I go into the video settings in MAME for that game, and I select Cocktail.   I thought that this would just enable the screen flipping feature.  Where, when it's player 2's turn, the screen would turn towards them.   But instead what happened was that the screen was split in half.   So there's an upside down mirror image of the game.   So both players have their own separate view of the playfield.  This isn't what I had desired.  I just wanted the screen to flip when it was their turn.   Does anyone know how I would enable that?  Or what am I missing here?

OK, I see now.  Ms Pacman has a dip switch to enable cocktail.  Then once I reset the game, the screen does slip between turns.   That cocktail setting I was enabled is a setting of the MAME, and not of the individual game.  Think I got er figured out...

I know this post is hella old, but if you are still around here would you mind posting that list of games that screen flip in cocktail mode. Or if anyone else has one.
