Title: How to Keep Guests From Exiting MALA
Post by: Woodshop Flunky on April 06, 2011, 04:54:15 pm
I'm afraid the answer to this question will be painfully obvious, but a solution has eluded me.

Right now, I've been playing around with the MALA front end on my laptop.  When I'm in a game, I can hit escape to exit back to the front end.  If I hit the escape key again, MALA asks me if I really want to quite.

On my arcade control panel, I will have an exit button to get out of a game and get back to the front end menu.  However, I do not want guests to be able to hit the exit button again and get back to the windows desktop.

Basically, I don't want there to be any way to get back to the Windows desktop using the control panel.

Can these functions be mapped to different keyboard events in MALA?  Has anyone done this?

Thanks

That's the good kind of pain.
