Anyone have a RROD 360 they want to unload? I'd like to try my hand at fixing one.
Thanks.

Ahh, it's less about saving money and more about wanting to try the fix. :dunno

Its an easy fix, got a kit off amazon for like 15 bucks. Probably could have hunted down the parts by themselves for cheaper, but I probably would have saved, max 5 bucks, so it was worth it.
+1 to PBJ though, see if you can get one that has at least has a hd and a power brick. you can get a xbox to vga cable for like 4 bucks. Controllers are like 20 bucks at the min though.

I just got a kit off ebay for 4.something shipped.
also check gametz.com a guy on there is getting out of them and had a stack to let go for cheap he also has psu cord controllers and what not he just dont want to do it anymore as a service and wants to unload them for cheap

It costs $5.00 for the parts at Lowes. I have bought them several times.

Anyhow, the kits are cheap, its the bricks/controllers that are expensive
