if you dont know what im talking about, its on the digital leisure page. anyway, i saw that you can buy it and get 3-D glasses with it as well! awesome! anyone have this game? if so, did you convert it to daphne, and did that work?
also, i have dragons lair 1 and 2, and space ace for dvd rom...but i want to play the other laserdisc games. how is everybody going about playing these? i dont want to get a laserdisc player...i just want to know if i can buy the games at EB or something. and if its some legal issue that you cant say on the board, PM me.

Excuse me for being rude here, but are you too lazy to go to the daphne homepage and look at the supported games? It'd be different if there were hundreds you had to scan through, but there are only like 13.

LOL!! Telling HC this is like telling someone the sky is blue. It's a well known and documented fact that he is that way, unfortunatly he knows and dosen't care that he is that way either, it's just a part of this board.
BTW, no...I don't believe TT is emu'd by Daphne, Creatine posted the best resource for finding out though...

Hey hulkster you are wondering about how to play the other laserdisc games that are supported by Daphne, well first of all you have to actually own the laserdiscs. Then you have two choices.
1. Get a laserdisc player and hook it up to your PC and use Daphne to access it.
2. Rip the sound and video off the laserdiscs and use Daphne to play them
but there is also the illegal way which I would not recommend. You can actually download the entire laserdiscs if you look in the right place. But get ready for like 1 gig of data to download per laserdisc. No, I dont know where to download them.

no i dont take HC seriously....i just think he's on a big high because he's got his little frontend and now he's Johnny BadAss...oh well, some like to dream.

WOW, old school wrestling watcher! snuka was the man, piper always sucked...no wonder he's gone again. his music was cool, but that was it.
okay, one more question....is the CD-ROM version of dragons lair/space ace....not as good as the DVD-ROM version?

I am a daphne user, I have like every LaserDisk out there, and have all of the Daphne supported games running in my cab. As far as Time Traveler is concerned, I'm sorry no, it is not supported. The Only version is the CD-ROM That Digital leisure has out.
If you have the ROM Versions of Dragon's Lair I and Space Ace, There is a program called DVD2DAPH that will take those DVD-Roms and convert the MPEG and OGG Audio files, It will also create the Framefile you need for Daphne access the correct Mpeg File.

Hulkster, I don't have a "litttle front end" I've had, three, the first of which was the first skinnable front end, in the history of the emulation community. I also have about 20 or so emulation related apps, have made about half of the arcade models for the 3darcade project, am a 4 year veteran to this site, co author of the controls.dat project, not to mention an all around modest guy.
I have the title of idiot police for a reason. When people ask stupid questions, I have the dirty (and yet somehow satisfying) job of smacking them down for asking. It keeps the board on topic, and keeps this community from degrading to other message boards in which 90% of the threads are either off-topic (or barely on topic, which is even worse) or contain useless data.
Don't take it personally. Well don't take it personally unless it stops you from asking stupid questions. ;)

well congrats dude. i think i speak for all of us when i thank you for devoting your entire nerd of a life to frontend-emulation-.dat-dork devotion! so to honor all your achievements, on behalf of myself and everybody else who thinks you suck....here you go.
