the rgb/15K to vga converter is half the price and can be used on today's tv's for a even better display quality plus the pcb quality is way way better too those are all over priced and obselete these day's IMHO.

You can get a similar device for about $40 from arcademvs.com.  Video quality using S-video should be decent - probably as good or better than any other NTSC solution.  Composite not so much.

Do you guys know how well this board works? I am tired of messing around with soft15kz to get my BillLabs 25 inch monitor to work with my ATI card. I would much rather use a board like this instead of buying a new LCD monitor.
Thanks in advance
Tom

Which board are you refering to?  There were several in this thread.

If you want to go from vga to an arcade monitor this is what you need if you want to do it with a convertor.

I really like the one from eBay as it seemed to have a lot of extra adjustments.

Working with just my ATI video card and this 25in arcade monitor has been hell. I could only hope that this solves all problems for me and I can move on with the project.

The output of that card is VGA it will not run an Arcade Monitor.

The BilLabs monitor does accept a VGA cable. It runs fine on my ArcadeVGA video card with a standard VGA cable on my old Pentium 4 PC.

I thought that this card converts the any HDMI Component Source to the correct video modes to make any video card compatible with an Arcade monitor that accepts a VGA cable.

If your monitor has VGA in then it should be OK.  When you said arcade monitor I immediately thought CGA as that is what most of them are made for and since you were using SOFT 15 it also made me think CGA.
