Nice. I like what you did with the CP. Have you tried a red vs blue style colour theme with a similar layout that you are using?
I reckon the CP would look awesome especially with the whole Ken vs Ryu style.
Funnily enough I am working on the above suggestion - really captures the me vs you spirit of the arcade.
-
Hrmm - funny enough the me v's you spirit sounds exciting. AND the red and blue sides would actually look pretty hot.
Here's a link to my hobby site with the modified graphics http://www.arcadeoverload.co.nz/graphics-streetfighter.html (http://www.arcadeoverload.co.nz/graphics.shtml)
Thanks for the tip. If interested i can give you the psd files for this.
-
Added further effects to lighting on RYU side art and gave rise to the overbearing AKUMA - looks pretty awesome - I may work on the CP and marquee to take this effect as well.

I really like where you are going with this.
I will be building a MINI SF cab in the next year so PLEASE PLEASE!! keep updating your post with your progress!
With your permission, I would love to cannibalize some of your art for my SF project.

Yea - for sure. I only ask that you share your art with others. I'm glad to help out or give ideas.
I should be starting this build within a few weeks - so i'll gladly share the final product.

Nice job

I found the originals on an old HDD - uploading now to MediaFire and will present the link when done.
I loved the final result this art gave my machine - but there were a few learning curves and could have done a bit better.
It was all about the fun of it - and i loved every minute scratching my head sucking dust and seeing results ;D

Thanks so much for the post! Downloading as I type!
-
another member wanted orange - so i'll adjust and post soon.
Just remember you can easily change colours by choosing a gradient colour and ripping it through the 'fill' layer.
have fun with it

Awesome work !
-
hi thanks for allowing the images to be used.
i was wondering if you had some measurements for the cabinet
-
not grabbing them, but I commend your spirit man. Im searching for art for my cab in progress as well. Its hard to find great art thats complete CUSTOM and given away for the benefit of all. Well done sir, and no disrespect is intended to anyone else in any capacity. I mean exactly that. Thanks and mad props brother.

Had to revisit this thread for inspiration.
Have a potential SF project and really like what you did here.
Outstanding work.
** I'm nervous about making full size side art ! **

You should be... I'm prob up to 100+ hours now. On the last leg, but those final tweaks are bugger!!

My issue is more about the resolution of the images you find online.
I'm worried when scaled up to fit full size cabinet art they will look bad.
That has me the most nervous.
I never want to deliver a faulty product.
If I run them thru Vectormagic you lose a ton of detail.
I'll cross my fingers and see how it works out when I fire up Photoshop tonight.

By far the biggest issue for me too... most i found, some i had to do some PS magic to, but i havent vectorised much... only what i created myself

wol-nz this artwork is amazing. I love it.
I made my own cabinet but sort of cheated by using an X-arcade. It helped me get through a divorce back in 2009 lol (biggest mistake of my life but much happier now).
I want to make another cab and use your artwork you have very kindly shared with us all here.
Just wanted to ask if you or anyone have the cabinet plans or cutting sheet or dimensions at all and to say thank you. I had a read through the other links but cant find one. Thinking I could get the artwork printed and work it out from there but that's bonkers.
Kind Regards
James

If the buyer permits I'll post the custom artwork (samples) that I'm working on.
Thanks to all the original creators for helping us all.
