Title: Qbert's latest Stern pin...
Post by: Q*Bert_OP on April 02, 2011, 07:16:41 pm
She needs a little TLC and some MPU board work, but not in too bad of shape.

The backglass is a little rough, however  :(

Nope Jim, it'll be "collector quality" when I'm done.  ;)

IMHO, Meteor and Seawitch are some of the best 80's Sterns.

Always liked Meteor, but I've never gotten to play a Seawitch.

As for classic Sterns, someone brought a Viper to the Texas Pinball Festival either last year or the year before...thought it was a very interesting machine.

Wish I had more access to Stern games of that era.  I got to play Seawitch and Nineball a couple years ago and really liked them.  My Dragonfist is a pretty good game that I wish didn't have the playfield damage it does.  I can't find anyone willing to help me get a good high res scan of the area between the flippers so I can consider fixing that.

Could be.  I find sys7 games more than anything else without a DMD.

Mine's an older model, and I don't have the handle bar installed.

Harbor Freight also has a lift table similar to this, but the release lever is integrated in the handle, so it won't be able to fit completely under a pin.

Also, the 600lb version is not necessary for moving pins around...I bought this as a make-shift lift gate when I started collecting vids.

So the big question is........Are you going to buy Tron?

Possibly next week? Whenever you're ready for it.

I've got to pick up Tron this weekend.
