Woot, grats! Heh, I got one a year or two ago. It was aptly named. The battery operated spinning duster was cool though... I was hoping for the TVs they gave out one year.

I tried to get one, but the they make you play has several issues. When I finally did get it to load and not throw an impossible to pass section in one of the levels so that I made it far enough to buy a BOC, the game just froze up. I let it sit for an hour since reloading the page would reset my progress, but it never came back. I decided it wasn't worth it.

They're sold out so surely there's no harm in letting us in on the secret...
I tried getting one at about 2 est this morning. The Woot page loaded but the I want one button would bring up a white rectangle and that's as far as I could get. I was thinking it was an April fools joke where they were counting the times people would click the button which I did about a hundred or so times! :angry:

The secret was that there was a link you could enter into your browser... it would take you to Kids Woot most of the time, and would randomly take you to the BOC order page. I had to go to the link about 10 times before it took me to the BOC.

This sounds like those porn thumbnails where if you click enough times, you'll actually get to the page it's showing.

I have gotten about 3 or 4 bags of crap over the years. I figured out one way to get them is to use a woot tracker such as wootalyzer. You leave the wootalyzer running and set it so that it automaticlly will bring up the "buy one" window when the bag of crap pops up.
When the bag of crap comes up, you will get a siren or something and the "buy one" window will try to load but probably won't load. What you do then is click the "buy one" button in the wootalyzer like 50 or more times as fast as you can. You will open up like 50 new tabs all trying to load the buy one page. Hopefully one of those windows will actually load up and allow you to buy the bag of crap. You have to do this almsot as soon as the BOC comes up otherwise you missed it unless its one of those odd game style BOCs.

One time we ended up with about 6 or 7 MP3 players. The Sandisk cheapies, 4 gig models. Most of them worked fine. Usually there is something decent in them that makes it kinda worth it. The last BOC was a bust, a box of last years calendars and Roomba wall thingys (some guidance thing, sell for about 10 bux on ebay).
I just do it for the fun of it.

a internet bud of mine won a random bag (box actually) of crap from some website.
inside was:
a 2 slice toaster...(smashed flat... remnants of a pop tart still in it :laugh: )
a travel/camping collapsible cup (florescent orange)
a bag of electrical toy motors
3 baggies of cocktail swords
a partial bag of bedazzle gems (WTF?!)
and the Pièce de résistance...a jean jacket that was partially bedazzled (looked like someone was going for a logo of some sort on the back and quit 1/3 of the way through) sorry no photo :(
i told him to finish the jacket but he showed no interest. :lol

Well, my first BOC, was in fact really crappy.
I got a camo snuggie with book light, a small tote bag, and 7 SanDisk Sansa charge cables... lol
