i searched for "invisible mouse" in the search engine and found this thread http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=8965 but i still dont know which way to go. my mouse cursor comes up like every game....almost anyway...its so friggin annoying! how do i get my mouse cursors to go away??? i mean, i may want them for maintenence in windows, so that means i dont want to make them invisible in editing files or whatever....ah....im getting confusing...what do i do?

Two options that I can think of...
1. I believe there are programs that hide mouse cursors. I dont know what they are called. Anyways, run this before you run mame, and then shut down this program after you are done.
2. Use a mouse cursor or icon editor to create your own "almost invisible" cursor. Create a cursor that consists of a single pixel so that its hardly noticible but you could see it if you needed to actuallly use it in Windows.

I just added it to my frontend. But it's still annoying.
1) it doesn't clea until it moves (I think I can fix this)
2) it shows up for a second when going full screen.
BUT...
if you remove it for good in windows... good luck trying to get windows to work when you need it.
You COULD try creating a black cursor. So it would be visible in windows blue background... And then it would be clear in mame when mame first starts up.

okay so i could download the program....anybody know where that is? or what are the good ones?

There is an option in windows that might do the trick. Check "hide pointer while typing" under control panel > mouse > pointer options.

XP but I think it should be in any of those, maybe under a different menu.
