Apparently I don't get out much (or here much since work banned all things internet fun :badmood: ). Just happened to see this at an arcade lately. Excellent excellent...

Id take em to the cleaners, Im sure they're wiping their asses with $100 bills these days....

lol, at least get an legal opinion!
cracks me up when massive companys do things like this.

Know of several people that have gotten their artwork ripped off the internet. Seems big corps. just google if they need something.

I posted it as public artwork so I don't mind. I'd made that for someone here on the forum a long time ago. I find it kinda cool they used it actually. It is strange that an artist would not want to design a logo though. Why go to school for something you like to do and then copy and paste? Oh well, bragging rights to me!

Heck yeah I did but had to make new letters and stuff :). Not huffy at all, just amused that it is being used on a commercial cabinet.

Yeah, he used the Defender style, but he created the logo. He didn't cut and paste like they did.

It's happened to me, too, man. Been there, done that. I will admit that when I saw those Guitar Hero cabinets that logo was the first thing I noticed....
first thing I noticed too. The second thing I noticed was the goth freaks playing DDR (in the "arcade" at the movie theater)

I have a friend that was stating his own web site creation business. He ended up using a licensed graphic on one of his clients WebPages and needless to say the owner of that said graphic saw the unauthorized use. My friend ended up paying them $6000 for that. Needless to say he was not happy.

^ he's kind of a moron to be using any random pic when he's running a business. especially web site creation business with lot of $ on the line. you can just buy those zillion logos/graphics on a disc with resell rights from ebay and use whatever from there or just make something yourself.
PS: Id be happy if someone used a logo I made lol. in fact ive seen so many control panels and marquees on ebay that I "photoshopped" using stock artworks and stuff. its all good

I was at an arcade about a week ago and saw the same Guitar Hero Arcade machine. I thought the Arcade logo looked familiar, but I couldn't remember where I had seen it. Now I know. Great work! (Too bad you aren't getting paid for usage, huh?)
