Ive decided to install Visual Pinball 9 on to my mame cab.
Im using maximus arcade with a 512mb graphics card and a 21" CRT PC Monitor.
Ive installed a few tables and installed the main VP9 program files.
I can get a table to load up in maximus and on its own fine however i have 2 problems:
1. The table is displayed horizonal - how do i display this vertical? I know it will shrink the table a bit as it fits perfectly horizontally but its no good as im using a standard pc monitor.
2. When i put in coins a window pops up displaying the info of the game or something which i need to click ok on. Is there a way to stop this from happening as it takes away the feel of the game?
Cheers

1.) what tables are you downloading? You are downloading desktop tables and not spanned/full screen tables correct?
2.) What key do you have the coin up tied to? It might be the same as the info window in Visual Pinball. Check the setting in Visual Pinball and set the keys to what you want.

ive downloaded full screen tables. Im guessing i need desktop tables then?
I will check the key setup - thanks.

For fullscreen, vertical display, you need full screen tables. Desktop tables are for horizontal display, and include the backglass image super-imposed 'behind' the table. If you have full screen tables, there must be an orientation setting that is incorrect on your system.

Im going to have to use desktop then as using standard pc CRT monitor in standard horizontal position

and use HyperPin to launch em, its great

but im using maximus. Can hyperpin still be used with maximus? maybe use it as a batch file as per pc game and then load tables through hyperpin?

Ok, you DO NOT want to use Spanned or Full Screen tables. The tables you want are called "Desktop (http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?automodule=downloads&cmd=viewcat&cat_id=13)". HyperPin is for vertical (Full Screen) tables and can't be used in a horizontal screen orientation.
