You could dye the plastic?

Just paint it...I paint everything-keyboard, monitor, I even painted my mouse, and it gets TONS of use. Think several light coats at 12 inches and a week to dry (really dry). Krylon Fusion is great paint for plastic by the way.

Just my opinion...they vary!

there is an aerosol vinyl dye(works well with plastic too), you can get at pep, boys that works great on stuff like this. paint does works and if your carefull can give you a nice result, but since dye seeps into the plastic, it makes for a more durable finish and is a bit more forgiving when it comes to application. it works just like spray paint, so it's a snap to use.

another option, if you can't find a black version of the part, would be soaking the bezel in a rite dye solution, a little more complicated method but it's probably the most durable( i haven't personaly tried it, do a search for rite dye, tons of info)

good luck
