I just received my two new RED Happ Trackball PCBs to replace my old (possibly broken) green PCBs.
Please refer to my attached pictures below labeled as PICTURE1 and PICTURE2 for my question below:
Picture 1 shows the orientation of the harness as it would connect to my green PCB board. You can see how the little tabs on the harness plug would lock into the green PCB board against the flat white plastic side of the PCB board so it would lock into place (purple wire on top).
In Picture 2 you can see if try to attach the same connector to the RED board it seems like I must rotate the connector 180 degrees (purple wire is on the bottom now) for it to lock the little tabs on the harness plug against the flat white plastic side of the PCB connector.
I just want to make sure I am not going crazy here and there is a definite difference of how the harness connectors connect to the red vs green PCBs before I connect it to power.
Will someone with RED PCB boards please verify the purple wire should be at the bottom?

Can someone confirm this for me?

Purple wire goes towards the top of the trackball. Purple,Red,Black,Green and Green,Black,Red,Yellow are the way mine are colored (top to bottom). The most you will have to do is switch the outer wires or, if your controller allows it, reverse the appropriate axes. The middle two wires are your power and ground.
