Fully working T-MEK (minus the small red/blue lights below marqee) I hate to sell it but I need cash-o-la for a motorcycle. Let me know your questions.

Besides here and craigslist, does anyone know where else I could try to sell this? I thought there would be more interest in this but guess the market kind of sucks right now. Thanks!
-
Good luck... that's a BIG machine... the buyer's gonna need a big space to put it in. May make it a bit hard to sell.

Yeah, I think your right. It may take the right buyer but I feel its worth more than what I am asking for it. Though I am willing to move a bit on the price. Thanks for the input.

At the last ATL auction, anything that wasn't new and was that big was lucky to bring $200.

I haven't seen your listing on the KLOV forums. I'd post it over there if you haven't already:

I have played T-Mek, and it's a great game! It would be awesome for you if it sold for your asking price, but you would have to find die-hard T-Mek fan. It sucks, but I have seen collectors (on klov) sell true classics like starwars cockpits, missile command cockpits, and even red baron, just because they take up so much space!
As far as a value goes, I usually price x-large jamma-era games on the monitors (of course, there are exceptions; X-men, SW's Arcade)...a recapped 25" 15khz monitor will fetch around $150 bucks on ebay, So two working 25" monitors uncapped would prob net you $100-$125 ea. Everything else, well, that's again up to how much the buyer "wants" this game.
-
Thanks for the input. Yeah, I figure its going to be a T-Mek fan that wants it. Guess I may have to let it go for less but the problem is I dont want to let it go in the first place. :banghead:
-
I would keep it. Try to make the money elsewhere. Sounds like if you were to sell it, it would be for a lot less than you want, and you'll probably regret it in the long run.

I know but its between my two great loves, arcade and motorcycles. I am siding with the cycle (ducati) :notworthy:

I have not been that way but it seems like it should be about a 2 hour trip or so. Might be willing to go that way. I do have a trailer.

Had a couple of inquires and 1 guy showed up with his family, played for about 15-20 mins then said they would let me know. I guess we will see.

If they didn't take it while there, they probably aren't going to. Hell, maybe they were bored, and just wanted to see if it was fun. Free entertainment.

Your probably right....tire kickers.

Going to drop it down to $500 for here (and Friends) ONLY. Figure if it dont sell for that I will just keep it. BTW, picked up the ducati, a sun burn, and a speeding ticket this weekend. Got the ticket on the way to get the bike....I hope this is not a bad sign.

Ok, decided to drop to $425 for anyone here. Got it on CL for $525. I have had alot of emails and guys wanting to travel to come get it but all have fell through. I swore I had it sold last week but the guy backed out the day prior to pick up. Oh well. I feel eventually it will sell and if it does not by July I am going to keep it.
-
SOLD!!! For $525. Thanks!!

Man I wish you were out here, I would have bought that thing and MADE space for it. I used to LOVE that game. Nobody ever sells anything worth buying where I live. :'(
