I posted this on KLOV to no reply so I figured I'd try posting here.
So I picked up a Pac-Man converted into a Vs. Unisystem a few weeks ago and finally got around to start working on it. Pulled the sides off and uncovered mostly intact and pretty good looking side art. There is a few sections though where the tact pulled the paint off and there were holes made in the sides where they bolted the monitor mounts.
So I just need advice as to how to touch up the spots I need to. I pretty much need all the colors to match the original paint and if anyone has info on whats the best paint/application method to make theses touch ups. I also need to paint the front/lower front insides as they were painted black.

Luckily you're dealing with straight lines here. I say get some high-grit sand paper and lightly sand the damaged paint down smooth (no flakes). Mask the area surrounding with some tape and newspaper, make sure to get painters delicate tape...then paint the sanded area with some primer...mask the area off and paint in their colours (probably a few coats). After painting, remove the tape (when the paint is tacky, not completely dry to get the clean edge), let it dry fully. Then cover those new lines and paint the black last. It's not going to be perfect, but it'll beat having to redo the whole thing.

The holes will require you to fill 'em with Wood Filler (found at any hardware store). Sand down the filler so the hole is filled and flush to the wood, sand a little bit of the area surrounding it, then do the same masking and painting method above.
For the painting, just get a small brush, one that you would find in an art store.

Use the search here. There are a few pacman resto's and converts that you could perhaps find some colour information on. Spyridon's pacman resto (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=87614.0) is the first that comes to mind...

Looks like you have more than just painting the insides...that entire panel is supposed to be yellow, and with artwork.

I'm not sure if you're planning on restoring the front panel, but that'll be difficult being that finding stencils are next to impossible. You might have to go with a print.

That I did!
There are a few more areas on the front that need TLC but everyone on KLOV is telling me to leave it alone.
I'm sort of on the fence as to what I should do. Part of me wants something stunningly perfect and part of me wants to leave it be. Decisions, decisions.
Thanks for the info. I'll probably end up posting back on KLOV should I make some progress.

Wow, that side art is in great shape. Looks like this one was converted pretty early in it's life.

Holy cow!! That paint is in ridiculously good shape! I have never seen a Pac Man with better paint. Ever.
I say don't touch it. Unless you pay to have it professionally done you are just going to end up with imperfect "spots" when the holes are.
Damn, where do people find games like this?!
