Title: Mame Video Settings reset? - Mala

Hey Guys,

I'm having issues with my video settings in mame.  I'm running Mala with Mame and running it on a cocktail cabinet, so i'm trying to use a vertical set up.  I'm able to go into Video Settings and change the screen to Cocktail, but the setting automatically removes itself every 3rd time I run mame (tried it in mame by itself and also through mala and same result).  So for example I set to cocktail, return to game and play.  I exit out normally and go back into the game and its still in cocktail.  When I exit out normally again, the game boots and the video setting resets back to the standard horizontal setting??  Anyone know what I can do? 

AFter trying it a few times in mame I went into the CFG file.  I copied and pasted the cocktail command in the game CFG file and hit save, and everytime it shows it in there correctly, when I go in the third time and it resets, the CFG file also deletes the code.  I don't get it!

Any ideas guys?

Jeez I just posted almost the exact same thing yesterday and then I found this thread.  Did you find a fix for this?
