Title: Double Image on Billabs Monitor
Post by: Man_Utd on March 21, 2011, 01:20:43 am
I have a Billabs BL25C90T, and I'm having trouble displaying 640 x 480 @ 60Hz.  I'm getting two images.

I'm using Soft-15kHz, a j-pac, and a Nvidia 6600 (Gigabyte NX66256DP).  I've played around with the controls on the monitor but haven't been able to fix it.  Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like your jpac is not getting a 15 Khz signal so it is halving the signal.

"If required, can divide a 31Khz VGA signal in half so that it will display a stable picture on a 15Khz arcade monitor. Useful for checking boot-up progress and configuration (not for application use). Automatically stops dividing the signal when it detects a correct 15Khz rate is being send by the PC."

Probably something not setup correctly in soft15 or the card to give you a 15Khz signal.  Sorry no experience with soft15.

Thanks for posting BobA.  I solved my problem by looking through the boards and came across this post http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=110302.0 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=110302.0).  I removed the jpac and connected the video card directly to the monitor and it worked.
I wanted to use the jpac to block the high resolution signals from damaging the monitor.  Oh well.
