Title: Strange J-PAC problem..
Post by: JoeB on August 25, 2003, 11:02:41 am
Here's a wierd problem I have with my J-PAC..

when it's plugged in with the keyboard attached on the keyboard port (while the PC/USB KBD port goes back to the PC keyboard input) everything works perfectly.

But when I remove the keyboard.. none of the buttons work!

The PC boots into Windows XP without complaining.. but none of the keys/joysticks respond.  When I plug the keyboard at this moment to the Keyboard port.. still no response (From both joystick/bottons or real keyboard).

I end up pressing the power button on the PC.. at which point the PC reboots..

I was under the impression the J-PAC can work without the real PC keyboard..

It certainly should work without a real keyboard. Best email me and we can try to find out what's happening.
