The rules are simple: make any real-world item that is inspired by videogames. This can be a stuffed Chocobo, a cake that is not a lie, or an epic cosplay outfit. It's up to you. Modding an old console for a new purpose is good as well.
Just make sure to document your awesome videogame-themed item and enter it. Step By Step, Photo, and Video Instructables will be accepted.
Make something amazing and you could win a custom laser-etched iPad and the cool new iCade from ThinkGeek, which you'll be one of the first to get your hands on when it is released in June. We're also giving away laser-etched Nintendo 3DS units. 3D without glasses? That's crazy!

(FYI, I'm not 100% done with my machine, so if the frontend setup looks a tad basic, there is a reason why.)
You can see check out my project announcement (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=107220.0) on this forum as well
Late Edit: Just an FYI: To view all the photos, you need to sign up for an account.

Sweet! I'll take m ten percent cut of the swag as your agent!

Haha! if I only knew how to divide 10 percent off of the prizes. If I win buckyballs, you can have 10% of them, but I'm pretty sure chopping 10% off of a 3DS would devalue the whole thing...
