Title: Questions about ZSNESW 1.36 and Nostalgia (Intellivision)
Post by: arcadecab on August 24, 2003, 12:40:39 pm
First off,

With ZSNESW1.36, I can not get  the "start" button to be remapped onto my joystick--it continually defaults to the space bar on the keyboard.  I want all functions to be on the joystick and none on the keyboard.  Is there any way to get the start game function to be mapped to the start button of my joystick?  Anyone else have this problem?

Second,
With Nostalgia,  I have Zip files as Intellivision roms and Nostalgia is not recognizing the roms.  I tried to unzip a few and the games appeared on the menu, but would not load.  Is there a way to keep them zipped and use them in Nostalgia?  Is there something else I could be doing wrong?  Is there something additional needed to play the original game roms and not homebrew games?

Thanks

I've used a gamepad with zsnes before and mapped start to the gamepad's start without a problem.  Perhaps it does not like your joy's start button for some reason. Try mapping the start button to another zsnes function and see what happens.

I have been using Bliss32 for Intellivison with an arcade monitor and it works great.  I reccommend it!
