I now that the big issue with using snapshots for console frontends has been using "goodtools" names when naming the images. I recently downloaded the Super Nintendo snaps from Stuzza's site that are goodtool named. However, they are not appearing as they do not match the names of the actual Super Nintendo roms that I have. Now what? I believe that because they are goodtool named, it is supposed to be "easy" to get the names to match somehow without actually physically changing each snap name. Any step by step help on this to get the snaps to work?
Thanks.

More specifics on how the rom filenames and screenshot filenames differ would be helpful.
Give the artwork renamer program a try:

In order to get all my NES roms to match, I ended up changing some them one by one.

and easy it is ;D
you need to have your roms match the godtools names.
here's a site with a faq on how to use the goodtools

Don't bother trying to rename the snapshots to match your rom names!! Trust me, it is much harder and will take longer! As Lustar said above, all you need to do is use the goodTools program for the specific sets you have (ie. use GoodNES for NES, GoodSNES for SNES) to rename your roms to match the snapshots. This will rename all your roms to the goodtools format, e.g. with (U) [!] etc.. They will then match all of the screenshots exactly.

Doh! Looks like I goofed. I thought he used goodtools and the snaps still did not match. Which happened to me on about 5% of the roms. Use good tools like they said! It is easy!
