Title: Sanwa 29e31S-B color issues
Post by: RichSorr on March 04, 2011, 07:59:05 pm
Hi all,

I have two of these monitors in Sega After Burner Climaxs. The one had a light red tint to it and the other is a little blue. I adjusted both and had them looking decent, still slight red or blue in the white, but after a day or so they slowly fade back to becoming red or blue. The transistors on the neck board test ok, I don't see any suspicious looking caps, but I haven't gone about changing any yet. Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be causing this??

thanks

I have had a lot of crt on these going bad-and i mean a lot, starts with what you describe-in the end one of the guns go
it could be a leaky transistor, for the price its worth swapping out for new ones on each

that is what I was worried about. I am going to replace the transistors and pray. Have you had luck using a rejuvinator on them at all?
