Title: I was wondering, on the arcade games... ?

Hi guys

I was wondering on the arcade cabinets, the actual ones, not the mamecabs

What are the kind of restrictor are used on machines like the street fighter series, king of fighter, tekken, metal slugs, all this kind of stuff???

I'm asking, because I did'nt know this aspect before I made my cab, and it looks like a big fuzz for some people  :)

Restrictor? Like joystick restrictor?  The games you listed should be regular 8 ways...  :dunno

Yeah I'm sorry, must sound like a stupid question ^^

but you know, with all those 4 way / 8 way / octogonal / round plate I'm confused  :lol

Depends on the game, but I think most are 8-way sticks with round or octagonal plates installed.  The only other option is a square plate, but that would probably not feel right for Hadoukens.  I had square in my LS-30's and recently modded them to round.  I like the feel much better now, but I wish there were octagonal available so I could feel the corners a little.
