Title: Wrong chassis causing poor picture?
Post by: Q*Bert_OP on March 01, 2011, 11:13:27 am
I have a Dynamo Showcase cabinet that came with a 33" Dual-res Sharp Image monitor.

Someone installed a Wells Gardner chassis on it. This chassis appears to be a U2000/5000/K7400.

The picture is 4" too narrow, the H-Size pot does nothing. Also, there is terrible "distortion" in the picture that can't be adjusted out. The V-Hold and H-Hold pots are not present on the remote board or chassis.

Is the having wrong chassis causing these problems? Anyone have a Sharp Image 33" Dual-res chassis for sale?

Yep. All the wires going into the monitor plug were coming out of their pins/poorly crimped.

Now the picture is clear and stable, but still too small   :banghead:
