I'm hoping some other people are familiar with the mekaw emu because I need some help. I'd like to put this on my cab to play some game gear/master system games, but I have one problem. I can't run it full screen. Has anyone successfully run a game full screen? I load up the game and change to full screen and all that happens is the background disappears and i am left with the small game window on my Windows desktop. Not exactly what I was going for.
If this can't be done, can someone tell me another SMS emulator that will run full screen. Thanks.

It can be done. I use mekaw065 w/ mamewah. Unfortunately I don't remember what option switched it to fullscreen. Make sure you use the normal blitter.
Sorry I could not be more help, but I just wanted to let you know it could be done... Now if only esc exited instead of going into the goofy gui...

Thanks for the reply. I know what ya mean about the ESC key... o well. I'm glad it can work tho, I'll just have to play around some more. I was using a normal blitter. I also got the Mekaw Configurator and played with those settings but still no dice. O well, I'll keep trying.

I use MekaW v64c and it runs full screen as soon as you load a rom from the command line through Mamewah. I didn't have to change any settings for it to do this? There is an option in the menu which specifies "Switch to full screen once rom is loaded", but this is not even set on mine! Maybe try running a game, switching to full screen then exiting, to see if it will save the settings.
