Title: What is this connector?
Post by: eclipso on February 27, 2011, 10:53:00 am: I need to take out the current monitor and get it repaired however on my spare I need a connector that hooks into this however after searching for a few hours last night I cant find any information. Pic is attached. I have no idea why type of Molex that is and was a bit shocked to find out that it didnt have one.

So looking at the wiring for the current monitor (see pics) you can see the black and white connected to the purple and purple yellow. I know the green yellow is the ground but not sure how to wire the purples for the temp monitor (see second pic sorry its a bit dark) I am bit confused why it say the L and N can be switch (and have no idea what the hell the L and N stand for) as long as the ground is connected in the center?

So I am thinking I can hook the purple and purple yellow up however as long as the green yellow is obviously in the center for the ground.

Correct.
The purple wires can go to either of the two outside pins.
The center pin is the ground. (green wire)

The L and N could represent "Line" voltage. (your AC input)
Or it could mean Live and Neutral.....but with an isolation transformer it doesn't matter much.
