Title: mame and the hiscores
Post by: danivempire on February 25, 2011, 02:20:28 pm
Hello all ^^

So here's my question. You know that some games like pacman, frogger, doesn't save the hiscores.

I've seen the hiscores.dat file from http://highscore.mameworld.info/ (http://highscore.mameworld.info/) , I've put the file in the same directory as mame.exe but it doesn't save the scores!?

Do I have to do something to make it work?

I'm using the official mame 0.138

thanks ^^

look up (http://"http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=64298.0")

(You need to compile your own)

MAME does not support (anymore) Hiscore.dat file.
You need to Compile ur own adding the CODES first, so that your complied MAME.EXE supports the DAT file.

I think there are other version that supports it (dunno).

An older MAME (dunno which last version) have support for the DAT file.
