Hi, I am currently configuring MAME for my cab and I have a question.

I am deciding on what artwork to use and I am very interested in adding pictures of the cabs which the Roms were originally used with, however I want each cab picture to be 100% authentic to how the corresponding Rom was contained.

Is there a collection which does this? I have tried to find out myself but I haven't found any which - state this/do this.

I imagine if there was then there's a good chance there could be a lot of missing images, though this would be fine.

Edit - Sorry, I thought there wasn't an Artwork section, if I knew I would have posted this there. I thought about whether I could remember there being one or not, instead of looking, you see  :embarassed:. I have been reading topics from that section to try and find an answer to my question as well, but I found those topics by using the search feature and never checked the topics' locations out.

Emumovies is a pretty good place to start for cab images.

I need the the stated criteria to be met though, and I am not sure if EmuMovies' collection does that.

Just to clarify on what I want, as I do not think I explained myself very well:

There are different versions of many games (hacks, regions etc), and a number of these were displayed in different cabs. I want to be able to see the correct cab image for each rom version.

I don't think there is a resource for pics/images of EVERY different cab for EVERY different version... And what ones that are out there were taken/made by different people with different cameras/software so they wouldn't look very consistant. The largest collection I have seen of something like this is Gozer's Sketchup models. Great work, and a lot of it, but even his collection of 3D models is only a small portion of EVERY cab. And some of what you may have seen different versions of may have just been conversions of different cabs...

Okay, thanks. I thought there may have been.

Does anybody know of an image collection that will not use an image of a cab for a rom, which wasn't housed in the cab in the image, either officialy at some point in time if it's an official rom or if it's a hack or something, just definitly at some point in time.
