How do you hook up a WG D9200 to a comp. power supply?
Derek

you don't....
it (the monitor) uses AC
computer powersupplies output DC....
if you are asking how to turn on your monitor when you computer turns on, well that's covered in the main forum recently...
What did you really want to know? (and i'll do my best to answer)
Rampy
Are you asking if it uses the same cord? or ???

Ok I am basically asking how do I turn my D9200 on lol. I dont know how I missed this part of the project, I overlooked it. What cord can I get to get it some juice.

The D9200 comes with a power cord, one end has a 4 wire white plastic connector that plugs onto the monitors controller board, the other end plugs into a standard house three prong grounded outlet. There is no power switch on the D9200 so when it is plugged into a "HOT" power source it just turns on. Some people plug it into a power strip and use that for their power button, some into a switched outlet.
Recently the BITS SMARTSTRIP was reviewed by Kevin of RetroBlast, I'm sure if you do a quick search you can find his thread. Basically the BITS is a pretty cool power strip. Plug your PC's power coard into the controller port of the smart strip and than everything else, Marquee light, monitor, speakerc etc... into the other outlets. When your pc's power button is pressed or turned on, it automatically juices up the pother compinents plugged into the strip. when you power down your PC the strip detects it, and turns everything else off. The strip sells for around $30.00 and reviews have been pretty good so far.
Hope that helps...

I don't mean to laugh, but give the monitor a few days and "missing the power cord" will be the least of your worries because the screen may go green/grey permanently! What a deal for over 400 bucks eh? :o
