i picked up an awesome original Berzerk for 60 bucks. The monitor is dead so i cant tell whats wrong with the actual game. I cant really tell if its playing blind or not, i hear sort of a robotic voice on first boot up, but i dont think its playing correctly. Anyways im not experienced but ive been trying to learn. First thing i did was buy a multimeter and with that i determined that the flyback transformer was dead as well as a fuse that was sautered to the board. I learned to sauter, so i replaced the fuse and then i ordered a flyback and replaced that. Now when i power the game on i actually hear the static as the monitor charges, and no blown fuses, but there is still no picture:( ive got a cap kit coming in the mail, do you think that will fix it? thanks so much in advance!!!

Did you adjust the screen pot?
Are you getting a video signal to the monitor? If you are check for the correct wire to pin connection.
This is under the assumption that the screen is really on.
Double check the circuit (B+) with the blown fuse for correct values of components.
