Title: Lighting coin returns
Post by: ItzMR2u on August 20, 2003, 05:44:26 pm
I have a coin door with no guts so I need to fabricate the light set up on the coin returns.  I'm looking at the LED wedge lights and wondered what would be the best size to go with for this, the 1 3/4 or the 3 1/4?  I would guess using the 12v would be the way to go if I plan on powering it off the CPS.   Any recommedations would be appreciated.  Thanks

I would guess that 5v lamps would waste less power in resistors, if you're wiring the power up when you get them anyway.  The 12v units are so you can plug them into the existing power config without rewiring.  Not that it matters much.

This is the ordering info for the LEDs I bought.  They fit into both my Happ coin door and their illuminated pushbuttons:

Happ Part #: 91-10WB-123W
Descr.:     LED T3 1/4 WEDGE BASE 12VDC  3 CHIP WHITE
Price each:   4.41
