I have one of the big plastic showcase CP's from a gauntlet legends that I'm considering for a project.

Does anyone have a template for the CP?
It can be for any game that used this CP. I just need the outline as a starting point.
If not, does anyone know how I can go about doing a scan of the plexi or metal?
(original artwork is glued down)
I only have a small scanner, but I'd be willing to pay someone a few bucks to scan the thing, if such equipment exists.

I would be interested in a template as well.

If any vendors are interested, I'm willing to trace the plexi & mail it to you.
I may attempt to trace it, draw hash marks all over it, scan the little 8x11 sections my scanner can handle, then stitch it together by lining up the has marks.
There's gotta be a better way though.
For now I'm going to design the panel without any type of border & trim the excess off when it's applied.
That's how the original was done. It came as a rectangle and the extra was trimmed off.

Yeah thats what I was thinking to buy an oversized overlay and just trim the excess

Any progress on this?

No, aside from gutting the cp. It's one of many projects on my radar, but pretty low on the priority list (I have other CP's).
If I do go through with it, my plan involves installing a touchscreen in the top part of the CP that will show instructions/fight moves, etc.
It's going to be a LOT of work and I'm not sure that it's worth the trouble for no more often than I'd use it.
It will be more just to prove that it can be done.
