I'm running my PCB's through a RGB -> S-video converter and connected to a TV. I have 5 boards that all work perfectly, but I just got a new one (Raiden Fighters Jet 2000) and the picture is scrolling from side to side (will I have the screen oriented vertically, so if the TV were sitting normally it would be scrolling up and down).
Can somebody help me sort this out? if not it looks like I'm selling this board off. I don't have the time/motivation to deal with this.

pretty sure seibu boards have slightly different sync signal-i would expect vertical hold to sort it

I tried adjusting that and every other setting I could. Nothing will get it right. I'm gonna try and sell or trade it. Too bad, the board is CLEAN.
So you say Seibu boards are slightly different. That would make sense, my Raiden II and Raiden DX boards took some adjusting, but I was able to get them playing fine...

I found out that all of the RF boards sync at 54.5 Hz, which is outside the range the a NTSC TV can handle. So I had to get rid the of the board, since I'm not looking to get an actual arcade monitor anytime soon. Luckily my Raiden DX and II boards work, that are very close to not working. They sync at like 55.7 Hz.
