I have done the searches on nag screen removal and I can see that almost every suggestion involves a recompile on mame. However, I am using version .103 and I have read somewhere that I may be able to manually change an ini file to remove the "emulation isn't 100% accrurate" screen. I am using a gui version, can I still do this? What do I type in and where exactly?
Thanks in advance!

Such modification is not possible unless you recompile with original sources and build tools. The only option you have in 0.103 which is also applicable to current builds is the option to -skip_gameinfo - that screen which shows the CPUs/sound chips the emulated machine uses. The only other trigger that was around between 0.70 and 0.99 was -skip_disclaimer, which halted the display of the first time run OK screen. Never has there been an official MAME build with the ability to disable the these "nag" screens, those which let you know that issues exist in a game. Do what you want for personal use only, but to not produce binaries for others with these screen removals. It's clearly outlined in the About MAME page at MAMEDEV: http://mamedev.org/about.html (http://mamedev.org/about.html) - Under "Derivative Works".

Compiling is easy using Headkaze's compiler app. You don't even have to pick the directories that the help file suggests.
-
I don't think HeadKaze's Compiler can compile 0.103.
Maybe if you have real old version maybe.

you using .103. If you want you can try Advmame .106. It has an option in the CONFIG/INI/CFG/ADV forgot the extension to SKIP EVERYTHING. It even have option to SPEEDLOAD so no waiting on booting (like NEOGEO, DECO CASS, PACMAN garbage screen at first etc....).
But first read the DOC that came with .103. It might have the SKIP_DISCLAIMER, SKIP_GAMEINFO etc...mention above.

I used the latest version of his compiler to change 141u1.

As in V1.20, I don't think it can compile anything too old you will have to use an older version or do it manually.

I thought you meant a real old version of MAME, which didn't really make much sense, though neither did your non-english-like missing 'a' above. I guess someone will have to ry....um, try it out.
