Having problems getting on the hyperspin site. Keep getting a "server not found".
I have deleted all the cookies, cache, and history. Tried on multiple computers. Still
getting that error. Anyone know what's going on?
Thanks,
Russ

What link are you using? This works for me:
http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/ (http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/)
I think they went to a new website awhile ago? Not 100% sure though.

I'm using the same one. Still does not work.
Weird. Anyone else having any problems?
Also, if anyone can give me the contact info for an administrator from HS I would appreciate it.

Workin' for me...
Try a different DNS server...
-
Sorry, how is that done?

Still having problems? Lets check how your DNS is resolving the address - I'm going to assume you're using Windows in some form.
1. Open a dos/command box
2. Type nslookup www.hyperspin-fe.com (http://www.hyperspin-fe.com)
press Enter
3. You should get a short report that looks like this:
Server: myrouter.home
Address: 192.168.0.1
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: hyperspin-fe.com
Address: 69.10.48.154
Aliases: www.hyperspin-fe.com
Try that and let us know what you get.

Trevski,
Thanks for helping me out here.
I did like you said and this is what I got back:
Server: mater.myactv.net
address: some numbers
mater.myactv.net can't find www.hyperspin-fe.com (http://www.hyperspin-fe.com): server failed

I just did the same thing with ebay and got back a confirmation with a name, addresses, and aliases.

Trevski,
You got me on the right track. I changed my dns to 8.8.8.8 ; a gaming dns.
This brought the page back.
Is there an explanation to why or how this problem may have started?
Thanks,
Russ

Check out OpenDNS http://www.opendns.com/ (http://www.opendns.com/) - see bottom right of page for numbers.
More info here --> http://www.opendns.com/support/article/4 (http://www.opendns.com/support/article/4) flushdns, etc.

Be aware that changing your DNS to Google's DNS server, which you have done, may cause slowdowns with torrent programs and other items. I read a story about it a few weeks ago. In the grand scheme of things it may not be a big deal but I just wanted to throw it out there.
Glad you got the site working for you though.
