Title: Newbie with Rockola 474 problems
Post by: USS DADDY on January 25, 2011, 09:55:35 pm
Hi and hope someone can help with our gameroom juke.

Side 2 selections trip the internal ckt brkr after the record is fully on the turntable.  Side 1 selections work normal.

When side 2 trips, I have to disconnect the selector harness which makes the "scan" switch work to place back the side 2 selection.
Then reconnect the harness and place switch to "on" for side 1 selections only.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanx!

The "A-B Snap Switch" is probably bad internally. Replace it with a new one. Get the part number from your manual and order from www.victoryglass.com (http://www.victoryglass.com)

Found it on the print and machine.

Thanx a lot, Ken!

It s not the A-B snap switch...machine is still making the play relay contacts "dance" when side 2 is selected, then the internal c.b.trips.

Any other help would be appreciated, thanx, Eddie.

Suggest hopping over to the jukebox forum at www.phonoland.com (http://www.phonoland.com) and making a post there.
