Title: J-PAC display problem, yellow light flickering
Post by: Kokapetl on January 23, 2011, 11:42:24 pm: I have a strange problem with my J-PAC where sometimes for unknown reasons, the screen display messes up.
There appears to be some vertical-hold distortion and the display looks dark and flashes brightly every so often (the yellow light on the J-PAC was also flickering on and off at the same time).

I still don't know what causes it (it only happens some of the time) but I am able to fix it by disconnecting the J-PAC's USB connection to PC and then plugging it back in again.
Anyone know what the problem may be or how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Maybe try to disable power saving features for that usb device.

I was thinking that the sync check/block and video amp on the JPAC was fully separate from the USB stuff, which it is...except for power.
